Texas State offers a variety of academic scholarships for transfer students. These scholarships are awarded competitively and require the submission of a Texas State scholarship application. Awards are based on the overall strength of your scholarship application. To apply for transfer scholarships, you must complete and submit a scholarship application—including an essay of your choice. The scholarship application and essay topic (i.e., A, B, C, D or E) are available via ApplyTexas at www.applytexas.org. You must submit all documents and be admitted to Texas State no later than March 1, 2010. If you are a nonresident receiving a transfer scholarship of at least $1,000 per year, you also qualify to pay the in-state tuition rate.
