Timeline

Below is the timeline for the transfer scholarship application, review, award and notification process. For information regarding scholarships reviewed by your college or academic department, be sure to contact the appropriate dean and/or chair’s office.

2009-2010 Transfer Scholarships Timeline
Date	Event
September 15, 2008	Scholarship application is available online
March 1, 2009	Scholarship application submission deadline. This deadline is also the date by which applicants must be admitted to Texas State in order to be considered for Competititve Scholarships
Late-March, 2009	Applications are distributed to colleges (e.g., College of Science, College of Liberal Arts, etc.) for college and departmental scholarship consideration.
Late-March/Mid-April, 2009	Financial Aid Advisory, Appeals and Scholarship Comittee reviews applications for university-wide awarded scholarships(e.g., Alumni Scholarship, Century Tel Scholarship, etc.).
Late-April/Early-May, 2009	Award letters are sent to students regarding those scholarships awarded by the Financial Aid Advisory, Appeals and Scholarship Comittee.
