As an academically-talented freshman, you may apply for three categories of scholarships at Texas State—National, Assured and Competitive Scholarships. Scholarships in these categories include the full-ride Terry Foundation Scholarship and $40,000 National Merit Scholarship. National Scholarships and Assured Scholarships
To be considered for the National Scholarships and Assured Scholarships, you must complete and submit a Texas State admission application within ApplyTexas at www.goapplytexas.org. Once admitted, your academic credentials will be reviewed for the National Scholarships and Assured Scholarships. If you meet the minimum eligibility requirements for the National Scholarships and/or Assured Scholarships, an award letter from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will be mailed to you shortly after you are admitted to Texas State.
To apply for this category of scholarship, you must meet Assured Admission standards, submit official transcript(s), submit official SAT or ACT scores and complete and submit a Texas State scholarship application via the Bobcat Online Scholarship System (BOSS) by December 15, prior to your first summer/fall semester.
